More information to reporting functions and matrix is required

It is currently a lengthy process to create a report and figure out how to make a chart work. It's also frustrating that we do not know what can work together and what doesn't. More How To guide and matrix of the fields' responses and function is needed.

Example of issue, metric function for a blueprint using sum and count will work in some chart but not others. What's the rule here? Why is it that some fields mark as group by this field will work on some chart but not others. is it bug or is it limitation?
Is there certain rules each field can work with? if so, what is it?
How do you list blueprints title (questions set in event) and have the answer next to it. Why is it that it will work if we have them in tabular view by selecting individual blueprint as column output, but we can't swap the column to row when we have so many questions/blueprints?
