Bulk item import of new versions
Currently the Item import feature allows for bulk upload of new items only and outputs an error if an item with the same ID already exists.
It would be useful if you could bulk upload a new version of the items through Item import.
For example, a change in the curriculum might necessitate changing the blueprinting categories for a large number of items. I've recently done this for >800 questions and had to manually make thousands of individual changes to the blueprint map of these questions.
Being able to export the items they are (currently able to do), update the items in the spreadsheet and then reupload it as a new version would have been a time saver.
Thank you for your consideration.

Terry JuddThis is a great idea! If you want to 'update' an existing event to use the latest version of the event rather than the older/existing version then as well as creating a new event (with the updated data) you have to delete the existing event - and bulk deletion can only be done via the API. It would be great if there was an import option to replace the existing event (with the latest version) in addition to creating new events or updating existing events . This would be particularly useful for goal event management, which can require a number of version 'update' during the course of a year.

Maria DaigleI agree. I think having the ability to modify the categories in bulk would be very useful (including items in approved state). I too have a similar task to create new versions of hundreds of items to change the blueprint categories.

Angel AngelovThis is a crucial feature that will be of good use I wanted to add this to the list of Customer suggestions but I see it has existed since 2022.
risr/ Developer Team please consider this as a very important feature for future development.
