Being Able to Order How Relations Appear on the User Profile by Managing Them Via the Dashboard Tool

I'd like to be able to chose the order in which Relations appear on the users profile as well as being able to choose if I want to make a particular Relation visible or not on the users profile, from within the Dashboard management tool.

So we would be able to configure the order and visibility from within the widgets they appear on, in the Dashboard.

At the moment we have to configure the Relation order from within the User Management > Relations section of the platform, which contains the full list of relations, without any filtering.

Hi Darn,

Thank you for the suggestion. As you point out it is possible to dictate the order in which the relations appear within the dashboard tiles by defining the order of the relations list itself. Does this not give you the end result you are after in this case? And if not, could you please describe the problem in a little more detail - are you looking to have different tiles with different ordering, and if so could you please provide some examples that would help us understand how you'd like to use this.

It doesn't look like I'm able to paste pictures in this text box or ticket.
But inside each Widget is the option: "Show relations and role connections"
Inside that option is: "Relations to show"
When you add more than one relation in this selection box, there is no way to order the way the relations are shown, I believe this is controlled by the User Management > Relations > "Reorder" option which is completely separate to the Dashboard tool, so instead of being able to manage the order from within the Dashboard it needs to be done over in the Relations section.
I think the order of the Relations in the User Management > Relations section makes sense from a default point of view, but then when you get into creating the Dashboard widgets, you should be able to override and reorder the the way the relations are displayed/ordered within the Dashboard Widget tools.

Thank you for the explanation. I understand your point in terms of the functionality - would you also please be able to provide some real world examples of where would like to have the same relations existing in multiple tiles, and for those relations to appear in a different order? (Which if I understand correctly is what you are trying to achieve with this suggestion)
